Мужчина по имени Шашанк Ядав разместил в социальной сети Twitter небольшой пост о том, что нуждается в кислородном баллоне, и упомянул болливудского актера Сону Суда.
После публикации полиция штата Уттар-Прадеш обвинила мужчину в распространении слухов о нехватке кислорода с намерением вызвать страх или тревогу у местных жителей. Хоть Ядав объяснил, что искал кислородный баллон для умирающего дедушки, правоохранительные органы выдвинули против него уголовное обвинение.
«Шашанк Ядав был привлечен к ответственности за распространение недостоверной информации», — сказал старший офицер полиции Арпит Капур.
Официальные лица заявили, что дед Ядава умер, по всей видимости, от сердечного приступа и не болел СOVID-19, однако обстоятельства его смерти остаются неясными.
Ранее в Индии разразилась катастрофа с коронавирусом. По словам премьер-министра Индии Нарендры Моди, страну накрыл «коронавирусный шторм». В связи с увеличением числа заболеваний и смертей от коронавируса индиец обратился к казахстанцам.
